Delete your account

You can permanently delete your WaveCheck account directly from the app. Once confirmed, deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

In-app steps

    Open WaveCheck and sign in.

    If you can't sign in, see the email option below.

    Go to your profile, then tap Settings.

  3. 3

    Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.

  4. 4

    Confirm the deletion when prompted.

    Your account, data, and content are removed immediately.

What gets deleted

  • • Your profile (display name, username, bio, avatar)
  • • Every post you've made, including photos, videos, and condition reports
  • • Your likes and follows
  • • Your XP balance and any unredeemed reward records
  • • Reports you've filed and notifications you've received
  • • Your authentication record

We may retain limited records (such as anonymised abuse logs) where the law allows or requires it.

Premium subscriptions

Deleting your WaveCheck account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. You'll need to cancel it through your Apple ID separately:

  • iPhone: Settings › tap your name › Subscriptions › WaveCheck › Cancel.

Can't sign in?

If you've lost access to your account and can't delete it from the app, email us from the address on the account and we'll handle the deletion for you.
