How do I delete my account?
Open WaveCheck, go to Settings › Delete Account, and confirm. Your profile, posts, likes, follows, and rewards data will be permanently removed. Full instructions →
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you'll cancel through your Apple ID:
- iPhone: Settings › tap your name › Subscriptions › WaveCheck › Cancel.
You'll keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.
How do I report a post or user?
Open the post and tap the menu (…) › Report. Pick the reason that best fits. Posts that pass our report threshold are hidden automatically while we review them. Submitting fake reports to take down legitimate posts is against our terms and may cost you points.
Why was my post hidden or removed?
WaveCheck is a surf-only platform. Every uploaded photo and video is scanned for non-surf, NSFW, or unsafe content before publishing. Posts can also be hidden after multiple community reports. If you think it was hidden in error, email us with the post link.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and enter your email. We'll send you a link to set a new one. Check your spam folder if it doesn't show up within a few minutes.
My local spot isn't listed.
Email support@wavecheck.app with the spot name, region, and a rough location. We add new breaks regularly.
